1. The shredder shall be fixed on the cement foundation. If the working place is often changed, the metal shredder and motor shall be installed on the base made of angle iron. If the crusher is powered by a diesel engine, the power of the two shall be matched, that is, the power of the diesel engine is slightly greater than that of the crusher, and the pulley grooves of the two shall be consistent. The outer end face of the pulley shall be on the same plane.

2. Before starting the machine, be sure to check whether the connecting bolts of each part of the metal shredder unit are fastened, whether the tightness of the drive belt is appropriate, and whether the power line is in good condition. Whether the motor shaft is parallel.

3. Check whether the hammer head is in good condition, whether the hole diameter of the screen is appropriate and whether it is damaged. Drag the belt by hand to check whether the main shaft rotates flexibly and whether there is jamming, collision and friction.

4. After startup, idle the equipment for 2-3 minutes to check whether the rotor turns correctly and whether the sound is normal. It can work only after it rotates stably at the rated speed.

5. Pay attention to the operation of the crusher at any time during work, feed evenly to prevent blocking the feed inlet, and do not overload work for a long time. In case of vibration, noise, high temperature of bearing and machine body, outward spraying and other phenomena, stop the machine immediately for inspection, and continue to work after troubleshooting.

6. When the machine is running, the operator shall not leave the unit, dismantle the machine during operation, observe the working conditions in the crushing room, and the maintenance tools shall not be placed on the machine.

7. The operator shall not wear gloves. In case of blockage, it is strictly prohibited to put his hand into the filler. When feeding, he shall stand on the side of the crusher to prevent rebound sundries from hurting his face.

8. Do not stop the machine immediately after work, but idle for 2-3 minutes to discharge all the materials in the machine. Cleaning and maintenance shall be carried out after shutdown.

9. The hammer head of the crusher is the main vulnerable part. After wear, whether the edges and corners are changed in the same direction or turned around, the whole set of hammers shall be replaced at the same time. When a new hammer head is replaced, the whole set of hammers shall also be replaced at the same time, not a single one. Screen pieces are also vulnerable parts. If some screen pieces are damaged, they can be riveted. If they are seriously damaged, they need to be replaced with new ones.

10. After the crusher works for 300 hours, clean the bearing and change the oil. Remove the belt when stopping for a long time.
